Why We Provide a PDF Copy of Our FFL and SOT Licenses
At Florida Gun & Gold, we provide a PDF copy of our FFL (Federal Firearms License) and SOT (Special Occupational Taxpayer) licenses to make the firearm transfer process as smooth as possible. This documentation is essential for compliance with federal laws and is required by the seller or dealer where you purchased your firearm.
How to Use the PDF Copy
- Share with Your Seller or Dealer
After purchasing your firearm online or from another out-of-state FFL dealer, the seller will ask for the FFL and SOT information of the business handling your transfer. Simply forward the provided PDF copy to the seller via email or upload it through their website if required.
- Enable the Transfer
The seller uses this document to verify that Florida Gun & Gold is a licensed dealer authorized to receive and handle your firearm transfer. Once verified, they will ship your firearm directly to our store.
Why This Step Is Necessary
- Legal Compliance: Federal law mandates that firearms purchased across state lines must be sent to an FFL holder. The license ensures both parties comply with ATF regulations.
- Seamless Transfers: Providing our licenses upfront helps prevent delays in shipping and ensures your firearm arrives at our store without complications.
